Contract Recruitment

Not every business in every situation requires a permanent IT resource, sometimes a short term contract arrangement for specialised skills is appropriate and beneficial. In these situations, Burton and Associates can secure the resource for you and make the necessary contract arrangements.

Some clients prefer to contract the candidate directly, others prefer the contractor to be employed by us and a second contract be put in place for Burton and Associates to provide the service. Whichever arrangement works best for clients, we can implement to make for a hassle free contract assignment.

Search Recruitment

There are situations where clients require a permanent employee but require that this be done discreetly without any market place activity associated with their business. This can be for a variety of reasons, commonly for senior positions.

In such situations we will undertake discreet and extensive searches to identify and secure the appropriate candidate. In addition to the intensive search activities that could extend to international candidates, Burton and Associates will leverage it’s own candidate base and that of it’s associated IT recruitment agencies in Auckland, Wellington and Sydney to locate a variety of suitable candidates.

A search assignment is typically much more labour intensive and time consuming than a standard recruitment assignment so a different fee applies and this can be negotiated to suit the requirements of the client and the resource sought.
